Connect with your ancestral plant wisdom

You belong here.

If you are a seeker of traditional wisdom, then you have found your community.

We gather those that want to learn the language of the plants, understand their healing properties, and use them for everyday wellbeing. We gather together to discuss ancestry and lineage - plant mechanisms of action and medicine making methods.

We are plant people. Welcome.

Verse School of Herbal Medicine

Herbalism is cool.

Information about milky oats (Avena sativa), including actions like calming nerves and nourishing the body, how to use it by drinking as tea or tincture, and its native habitat in Europe and Asia, with a background image of oat plants.

Everyone has an ancestor who practiced herbal medicine for the health of their family or community.

Herbal Medicine is the use of plants for healing, which may include food, teas, tinctures (plant extracts), essential oils, body care, and supplements. Different communities all over the globe have their own language to explain how herbal medicine aids in healing the body to guide it back to balance.

Verse Herbal Medicine School uses evidence-based knowledge to back up the historical use of plant healing. Herbal medicine has empirical evidence for increased healing in integrative therapies, and is prolific at helping people increase their quality of life.

There is no doubt that herbal medicine is booming in modern culture through functional foods, teas, clean beauty, nevertheless... there is still so much work to be done in order for people to have experiences with herbal remedies that can have a positive impact on their health.

Verse is determined to be a bridge for those that have not imagined themselves in healing spaces by unveiling data-driven education, ancestral reclamation, and inclusive, diverse teachers.

If you are seeking a space for belonging, you’re in the right place.
